PRINCE PLACE BOARD MEETING: The Prince Place Board meeting will be held Monday, September 14th, 6:30 PM, at the Centre.
SUNDAY SCHOOL: Back to Sunday School! Calling all children ages 3 & up for Sunday School Registration, Sunday, September 20th, at 10:30 AM. At 11 AM, we will have a ‘Back-to-Sunday-School Kick-Off’. We are looking forward to another great year; hope to see all the kiddos!
YOUTH GROUP/CONFIRMATION CLASSES: Rev. Alice will be offering a weekly Youth Group program for youth ages 11 & up, on Tuesday’s, beginning September 22nd, 6:30-8 PM. This Youth Group will also serve as Confirmation classes for youth ages 13 & older, which will be necessary to attend to be confirmed.
YARD SALE: Our Annual Yard Sale will be on Saturday, September 26th. We are accepting donations of any good, used/new items. You may leave them on the stage or the room off the kitchen. Please drop larger items off the week of the sale. Please, no old T.V.’s or computers.
CORPORATE COLD PLATE FUNDRAISER: If you would like to purchase a Cold Plate, they are $17 and include ham, potato salad, pasta salad, cucumber, tomato, roll and homemade cookies. Please phone the church office by Friday, September 18th to order. Pick up will be between 10:30-12 PM on the 23rd. We are accepting donations of cucumbers, and/or peppers. Lastly, we need large boxes to deliver the cold plates; if you have any and would like to donate them, please drop them off at the Centre. Thank you!

PICNIC: There will be a Free Community Family Picnic at Untamed Grange Lavender Farm, Trout Brook, Sunday, today, 1-5 pm. BBQ, Washer Toss, Live Entertainment, Ladder Ball, Water Balloons, Face Painting and prizes. Everyone Welcome. Provided by “Our Lady of the Rivers Parish (Saint James and Saint Thomas Churches)
DESSERT LAUNCH: A Dessert Launch of The Shipwreck of 1761 Discovered Near Burnt Church, N.B. will be held on September 26 from 2-4pm at The Historical Hall (former Burnt Church School on the corner of Burnt Church and Church River Roads). 2pm - A reading and music, followed by a viewing of some items salvaged from the wreck, beverages & sweets and a book signing. All proceeds from the book will go as donations to the Historical Society of Church River Inc.
