Today’s Service
(* Indicates when to stand, if you are able.)

By grace we have been saved through faith.
And this is not our own doing; it is the gift of God.
For we are God’s handiwork,
redeemed in Christ Jesus for good works,
works God has prepared for us, that we should walk in them.
Praise the Lord!
The Lord’s name be praised.

MISSION TRIP This is an expression of interest for any of you (16 & over) who might like to join a Short Term Mission Team to El Salvador, spring of 2020. Dates and project details are still being looked at. In the past, these types of trips have been between 8 – 10 days long. Cost per individual would be approx. $1700 cdn. Depending on the type of project we would be involved with, the cost of the project could be approx. between $5,000 – $8,000 US. Anyone who has thought about going on a Short Term Mission trip like this is encouraged to contact David Jardine or Bill Adshade.

VILLAGE OF HOPE is a drug and alcohol regeneration facility with a Christian based program to help men of all ages (18 and up) overcome life controlling drug and alcohol problems. The program is funded by donations and accepts students from throughout Canada. Students learn the physical and psychological effects of chemical addiction and learn to take responsibility for their own recovery. They learn to give of themselves to serve others which helps give them hope for their future and a true sense of purpose. Some of the elements of the Program include: establishing good work ethics, learning employment skills, experiencing inner healing and rebuilding broken family relationships.
The Outreach Team believes this would be a worthwhile cause and beneficial to our community and are planning to sponsor a student for a 10 month period. Members of the Village of Hope will be sharing their message with us in our service on October 20, 2019.
