“Just a Closer Walk With Thee”
God of love,
plant us in the soil of Your grace.
Nurture us with the strength of Christ,
the vine of everlasting life.
Enlighten us with the wisdom of Your Spirit,
which flows through us today and all days.
Abide in us,
that we may abide in You
and live in Your love.
In Your holy name, we pray. Amen.
PRAYER FOR ILLUMINATION
Part Three – The Perfect Law
THE LORD’S PRAYER
Living God, You are the Lord of all!
Only You can send Your Spirit to bring us new life.
You graciously speak Your word of hope in times of struggle and uncertainty and in times of joy and peace.
We are grateful that You are continually at work in our lives and the world to fulfill Your promises.
May our giving today show our trust in You.
We pray through Christ our Lord. Amen.
“One More Step”

Our Church News
FALL BIBLE STUDY – A Fall Bible study will begin this Tuesday, September 28th, at 7 PM, at the church. All are welcome to join.
HOW DOES THE NEW COVID 19 UPDATED PROTOCOLS AFFECT THE CHURCH? – Due to new protocols, it is now mandatory that masks be worn at all times in the church. We have also been instructed by the Minister of Health to survey the congregation as to whether those attending are fully vaccinated; we must ensure that 90% of members are double vaccinated. We will not be asking to see Vaccination passports by rather taking people at their word.
SUNDAY SCHOOL – Sunday School classes have resumed! Registration was held last Sunday and will continue this Sunday and onward. We are looking forward to seeing the children and learning and growing together in faith.
ROAST BEEF FALL SUPPER TAKE OUT – Our Annual Roast Beef Fall Supper will be held on Saturday, October 30th. This will be a take-out only dinner; tickets are $15 each and will be pre-sold only, available at the Church Centre, Dickison’s Pharmasave and Brookdale Flower Shop.
MEMBERSHIP PHONE CALLS – Please note the Church Council will be making phone calls to members of the congregation within the next few weeks. The goal of this initiative is to check in with our members to let them know that we care and gauge any needs they may have. Our hope is that we will be able to reach all members of the congregation.
