OPENING PRAYER
Heavenly Father, we thank You for so many things;
Your amazing power and work in our lives,
Your goodness and many blessings You have given us,
Your ability to bring hope through our darkest hours,
Your incredible sacrifice so that we can experience
freedom and life and for
Your never-ending love and care.
Forgive us for when we forget to thank You and
give You the praise You so deserve.
Help us to set our eyes and our hearts on You today and everyday.
Renew our spirits, fill us with Your peace and joy.
In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

Season of Thanksgiving Part II
PASTORAL PRAYER & THE LORD’S PRAYER

DEDICATION
As we offer our gifts to you, Holy God,
may we remember those who are forgotten by us too many times – the hungry, the lonely, the homeless, the vulnerable – yet are important citizens in your kingdom
of grace, justice, and hope.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

“When it’s all Been Said and Done”

POSTLUDE

A Poem of Thanksgiving
For all that God in mercy sends, for health and children, home and friends;
For comfort in the time of need, for every kindly word and deed,
For happy talks and holy thoughts; for guidance in our daily walk –
In everything give thanks!

For beauty in this world of ours, for verdant grass and lovely flowers,
For song of birds, for horn of bees, for the refreshing summer breeze,
For hill and plain, for streams and wood, for the great ocean’s mighty flood –
In everything give thanks!

For the sweet sleep which comes with night, for the returning morning’s light,
For the bright sun that shines on high, for the stars glittering in the sky –
For these and everything we see, O Lord our hearts we lift to thee;
In everything give thanks!
