OPENING PRAYER Ophelia Rosengren
Heavenly father, this morning, we want to give You glory for the many things You have blessed us with. You are our great God and we know that You love us, but we don’t always understand what’s going on in life. Help us to praise You even when we don’t feel like it. Help us to think more about all the things You say because that’s important. We thank You for all the amazing stuff You have planned for us. In Jesus name. Amen

PRAYER FOR ILLUMINATION Molly & Ava Gallant
God our Father, You are always there for us and listen to us when we need You. You sent your Son Jesus to lead us and to take care of us.
This time Lord we are asking You to teach us as to listen.
Your Word, the things You say, has special power to make us happy even when we feel sad. Help us to think about what You say until we are not scared and worried anymore. In Jesus name. Amen

MINISTRY OF THE WORD

Many thanks to all who contributed to the supper; ticket sellers, calling committee, monetary and food donations, food preparation and cooking, buffet servers, delivery of meals, ticket buyers, outdoor cooking setup, greeters, Brookdale Flower Shop, ticket takers. The support and care of many willing hands and hearts made the supper the success it was; with gratitude and thanksgiving – the Fall Supper Team.

CHURCH COUNCIL MEETING – The Church Council meetings are now scheduled for the third Thursday each month. There will be a meeting this Thursday, October 15th; the teams will meet from 7:00-7:30 PM, followed by the council meeting at 7:30 PM.

SALVATION ARMY CHRISTMAS PROJECT – The outreach team, is seeking your assistance with the Salvation Army Christmas project. The Salvation Army is not receiving Christmas Hampers this year. In lieu of hampers, they are asking for monetary donations and/or gift cards for groceries. We are asking the congregation to please assist the Salvation Army in their request. Please leave your donation at the church office or on the offering plate, designating it “Salvation Army”. A member of the Outreach Team will deliver all donations to the Salvation Army, who will in turn ensure that all registered families will receive a turkey dinner and supplies for the holidays. Thank you – the Outreach Team.

SOCIAL DISTANCING REMINDER – As we head into the Fall, we want to ensure everyone’s safety; please remember to wear your masks when entering the church and use the hand sanitizer. You may remove your mask once you are seated. Also, when leaving the church, those seating closer to the front, please exit through the doors at the front of the church. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work together 😊

BIBLE STUDY – Fall bible studies take place on Tuesday evenings at the church, at 7:00 PM.
