St James and St John United Church
May 22 2022

We are called to follow Jesus.
But following Jesus can sometimes be difficult.
Yes, it can be; following the Saviour
can demand our dedication and our energy.
But it will change our whole lives.
Come, all of you. Come and learn
and follow our Lord, Jesus Christ.
Lord, we come, seeking Your wisdom and Your guidance. AMEN.

“Because He Lives”

Lord, we have come this day to hear
Your words of healing love and hope.
Enter our hearts and our spirits and teach us to follow You.
Give us courage and strength to be Your faithful disciples. AMEN.

Romans 8:10-14, Acts 10:38-43

This is the word of the Lord.
Thanks be to God!

The Reason to Re-engage

“How Deep The Father’s Love For Us”

God, it is our prayer that this offering,
a symbol of all that we have received as a gift from You,
will be used through our church community
and beyond to further Your never-ending mission
of renewal in our world. Amen.
