“Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.” 1 Corinthians 13:1
Today’s Service

CALL TO WORSHIP – Payton Lingley
Let us love each other because God gives us love.
God showed us love by sending His son Jesus into the world.
Since God loved us so much, we must love each other!
No one has ever seen God. But when we love each other, God lives in us.
Jesus said, “Love one another”.
When we love each other, God comes fully alive in us. Amen.

*INTROIT “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands”

OPENING PRAYER – Molly Gallant
Loving God, we thank You for being a loving and gracious God. Thank You that you’ve offered us forgiveness and the gift of Your son Jesus Christ. Thank you that Your love is perfect, it never fails, and that nothing can separate us from Your love. Amen.

*HYMN “Jump Into the Light”

1 Corinthians 13: 1-7

ANTHEM “It’s About Love”

God of Love,
We confess we are sometimes impatient, and often unkind.
We are quick to envy, and find subtle ways to boast.
There are times we are rude, and lift ourselves up as we put others down.
Loving God, teach us to love.
God of Love,
we confess that we are quickly angered; we are quick to record how often we’ve been wronged.
There are times we celebrate the misfortune of others.
Loving God, teach us to love.
God of Love, we confess that we put ourselves first;
we’re reluctant to give, we are slow to sacrifice.
There are times we hesitate to protect.
Loving God, teach us to love.
When we are tempted to judge, to assume the worst,
May love remind us to trust.
When we are tempted to despair, to assume all is lost,
May love remind us to hope.
When we are tempted to give up, to assume it will never happen,
May love remind us to persevere.
Loving God teach us to love. Amen.

Weekly Announcements
VOLUNTEERS REQUIRED –The Trustees are seeking interested volunteers to perform a tour of the church and centre to identify any upgrades, repairs and renovations that are needed. You do not have to specialize in a trade to assist – only possess an interest in the project. The team will meet on Saturday February 15, at 10:00 am., to survey the buildings. Please contact Ellie Sherrard 622-3088 or the church office 622-1598 to leave your name. **To the members of the congregation who do not wish to take part in this survey, you may express your ideas/concern on the insert in the bulletin and drop it off at the church office or place it on the offering plate over the next few Sundays. Your input is important to us.

LOUNGE – The lounge at the center is shaping up nicely, thanks to your kind donations. It looks as though all we require now is a coffee table and paint for the walls to freshen things up. Thanks for your support 😊

DESSERT THEATER – The St. J & J Drama Troupe will be presenting it’s first ever murder mystery, dessert theater, “Fatal Carnival”. Come join us for this ‘Who Done it?” mystery style theatre and have your say in who you think did it. Show times are March 27, 28, & 29th, at 7:00 PM at the church center. On stage are Nancy Donald, Katrina Donovan, Diane Forrest, Tony Miller, Terry Mullin, Kimberley Shaddick, Alice Szemok, David Watling, Ronda Whyte, and Art Young.
