INTROIT TO WORSHIP

GREETINGS & WELCOME

CALL TO WORSHIP Corey Shaddick (Video)
Patient God, merciful Father, we are here today with a desire to learn and a thirst for Your word. Every day we live, we work, we struggle only to find meaning in You. Every day we try to be nice and loving only to catch ourselves being the opposite. We cannot be good in our own strength. We cannot follow You in our own understanding. Our hearts are full of ourselves and the noise of this world blocks out all that You have to say. Empty us Jesus, empty our minds and hearts so that we could receive You. Teach us to remove ourselves from the center of our own worlds so that You can take your rightful place in our hearts. Teach us today to grow by Your word and to silence the useless noise of this world. In Jesus name. Amen.

Almighty God and loving Father, we come to You today as doubtful people with good intentions, but with no ability to bring change into our own lives. How many times have we tried to be the change we desire and seek, only to fall short at the end? How many times have we tried to have a meaningful life without You, and have fallen again and again? Help me my God to give up trying to change what I cannot and give me Your strength to change what I must. Teach me Father to find the hidden and precious joy within Your will so that my life may be complete. Amen.

Loving Christ, how beautiful are Your ways, how amazing are Your ideas and dreams for us. You plan and You build; You nourish and continue to forgive. In Your mysterious and all-powerful name, we ask You Jesus, to reshape our lives for Your glory. Teach us to walk with You in all the days of our lives so that we may have a life of freedom with awesome victories, not for ourselves but for Your glory, loving Christ. Amen.
