Call to Worship Kathy Buckley
This is a season of miracles and we pray for one today.
Where there is despair, we pray for Your hope.
Where there is turmoil and anger, we pray for Your peace.
Where there is sadness and pain, we pray for Your joy.
Where there is hatred and indifference, we pray for Your love.
It is the season for miracles and we pray for one today; come, Lord Jesus, may Your light come into our world. Amen

A Christmas Eve Prayer

Loving Father, help us remember the birth of Jesus,
that we may share in the song of the angels,
the gladness of the shepherds, and worship of the wise men.
Close the door of hate and open the door of love all over the world. Let kindness come with every gift
and good desires with every greeting.
May Christmas morning make us happy to be Your children,
and Christmas evening bring us to our beds with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus’ sake. Amen.
