We have gathered today to give God all the glory and honor for His many blessings, too numerous to count

Loving God, you are a gracious and giving Father. We thank you for the many ways in that you have blessed our lives; with love, hope, faith, friends, family, church, and so many other things. Teach us to walk in Your ways; to care and serve others as You would have us do. To live each day with hearts full of thanksgiving and to remember to turn to You in prayer, giving You the praise that You so richly deserve. For these things, we pray in Jesus’ Name, AMEN.

The Sunday School is also in need of volunteers who are willing to teach a class from time to time. The curriculum is super easy to follow and extremely user friendly; very little preparation is involved. VILLAGE OF HOPE Members of the Village of Hope will be sharing their message with us in our service on October 20. Facebook: Village of Hope Canada. There will a light lunch at the center, after the service. Village of Hope will be displaying their items for sale also. Proceeds from the sale and monetary donations help to fund this important program.
FALL SUPPER – Reserve the date SATURDAY, OCT 26, 3:30 – 6:00 PM for St. James & St. John Annual Fall Roast Beef Supper, Adults $13, children under 12 $7. Take-outs available. You will be contacted by someone from the Planning Committee starting Oct. 1st to see how you can help. If we should miss getting in touch with you and you would like to help, either thru monetary donation toward the cost of the beef, bake a dessert, set-up, clean up, serve, donate potatoes or pickles, call the office 622-1598 and let us know how you would be willing to help.

SENIORS GATHERING on Wednesday, Oct 16 at 1:30 PM at St. Andrew’s United Church, 188 Wellington Street, Miramichi. There will be a guest speaker from Region 7 Hospital on Volunteerism and the need for it. A light reception will follow. All are welcome!
